The original Cloverleigh Farms Series (5 books) centered on the five Sawyer sisters: from oldest to youngest, they are Sylvia (UNBREAKABLE, #4), April (UNFORGETTABLE, #5), Meg (INSATIABLE, #3), Chloe (UNDENIABLE, #2), Frannie (IRRESISTIBLE, #1). Don’t ask me why I wrote them out of order. I have no idea, and it drives me nuts!
Cloverleigh Farms is a fictional place located in Leelenau County, Michigan about 20 minutes north of Traverse City.
Here is what the family looks like when the next generation series begins with IGNITE:
Mack and Frannie MacAllister (IRRESISTIBLE)
Children: Millie (30), Felicity (26), and Winnie* (22) from Mack’s first marriage; twins Audrey and Emmeline (16)
Details: Mack (54) is still the CFO at Cloverleigh Farms. Frannie (44) owns her own bakery called Plum & Honey in Traverse City. They live in the home they bought together after getting married. Millie lives in Frannie’s old apartment at Cloverleigh Farms, where she’s the even planner. Felicity is a food scientist who lives in Chicago. Winnie, who recently graduated from MSU with a degree in hospitality, works in guest services for Cloverleigh Farms.
*Winnie MacAllister is the heroine of IGNITE, the first book in the next generation Cloverleigh Farms stories.
Chloe and Oliver Pemberton (UNDENIABLE)
Children: Sawyer (15) and Elsa (14)
Details: Chloe (48) is now the CEO of Cloverleigh Farms. Oliver (48) runs Brown Eyed Girl Distilleries (multiple locations). Their son and daughter are in high school.
Meg and Noah McCormick (INSATIABLE)
Children: Fletcher (14), Evan (11), and Daphne (8)
Details: Noah (50) is now the county sheriff. Meg (50) is an attorney and advocate for a regional branch of the American Association for People with Disabilities. Their son Evan is adopted and has cerebral palsy.
Sylvia and Henry De Santis (UNBREAKABLE)
Children: Whitney (29), Keaton (27) from Sylvia’s first marriage, Steffan (17), Claudia (14)
Details: Henry (54) is the head winemaker at Cloverleigh Farms, and the winery now has two locations and three tasting rooms. Sylvia, Keaton, and Whitney all work for Cloverleigh Farms Wines. Henry and Sylvia (54) live in the home they bought together at the end of UNBREAKABLE and their two younger kids are in high school.
April and Tyler Shaw (UNFORGETTABLE)
Children: Chip Carswell* (34, he was given up for adoption because April and Tyler were only 18 when he was born), Frankie (14) and Jonah (11).
Details: After retiring from MLB, Tyler (52) opened a sports and baseball training complex outside Traverse City. He also opened a microbrewery called Southpaw Brewing Co. April (52) works part-time in events at Cloverleigh Farms. They live in the home Tyler purchased at the end of UNFORGETTABLE and their younger two children are in school.
*Chip was raised by the Carswell family in another city but moved back to the Traverse City area with his mother and younger sister after his adoptive father died. He was a senior in high school during UNFORGETTABLE and played baseball for the high school team, which was how he met Tyler, who was helping out the coaching staff. His little sister Cecily (Cece) is now 28 and a videographer.
