Oh. My. God.
I thought there was NO WAY Harlow could write scenes hotter than she did in Speak Easy. I WAS WRONG!
I want to roll around on her words. Her characters are gorgeously written, the emotions run high, and everything is lush and vivid. I can’t recommend these books enough. Tamara Mataya, author of The Best Laid Plans

If a flapper’s life in 1923 was anything like Tiny’s, count me in. YES PLEASE! Holy smokes who would have thought the women of the 1920’s were leading lives full of HOT HOT steamy sex and adventure. I want a time machine, I want a Joey and Enzo of my own and I want a Large walk in pantry. I cannot begin to tell you how perfect this follow-up to Speak Easy was, but I will try. The Book Bar Review

I have to say how refreshing it is to break up all of the contemporary New Adult books that are out there today with something completely different. I love that Speak Low (as well as Speak Easy before it) is a New Adult Historical Romance. And while it takes place during an earlier time in history, it is no less exciting and relatable than anything taking place in the present time. Both of the books in this series are fresh and enjoyable, and I will never pass up Historical Romance novels again. Because if half of them are as difficult to put down as these, I’m hooked. What a unique read! There was so much action, romance and the writing style was amazing! This is truly why you read a book… so that you get immersed into another world. Bootlegging, secret nightclubs, flappers and dangerous gangs are common. Was such an exciting read! At the beginning I was torn between Joey and Enzo but I definitely think Tiny ended up with the right person. Wow, they were smoking together! Goodreads Review

This is a book I will constantly recommend to people. It’s effortlessly written to capture the reader and make them forget that the book their reading isn’t real life. I’ve always shied away from historical romance novels, because they sort of make me feel uncomfortable with their high-quality cheese factor. Mostly, for me they can seem overly dramatic, thus not allowing me to connect. With Speak Low, there are so many relatable aspects that connecting with the characters is so easy. Goodreads Review
