The original Frenched Series took place in a couple different lcoations! Frenched took place in Paris, and the other books in the series were set back in Detroit. The series was based on three female friends: Mia (FRENCHED, #1; YANKED #1.5), Coco (FORKED, #2), and Erin (FLOORED, #3).
I love these characters so much, I’ve continued to bring them back in subsequent series! The ages given below are their ages at the start of my current new series (the next generation Cloverleigh Farms series), in which Frenched Series characters appear!
Mia and Lucas Fournier (FRENCHED and YANKED)
Children: Henri (25), Ellie* (23), and Gabe (19)
Details: At the conclusion of the Frenched Series, readers learned that Mia and Lucas moved up north to Old Mission Peninsula and purchased a winery they named Abelard Vineyard. They also built a beautiful home, inspired by the French country home Lucas grew up visiting in Provence (he takes Mia there in FRENCHED!). Abelard also hosts events such as weddings, and later they added guest cabins and a restaurant. Mia is still the event planner there, and Lucas is the general manager. Their daughter Ellie is an assistant winemaker at Abelard. She’s the heroine’s best friend in IGNITE (Cloverleigh Farms next generation #1) and will get her own book in that series!
Appearances in other series: Lucas and Mia appear in the Happy Crazy Love series, the One & Only Series, and the Cloverleigh Farms Series.
Coco and Nick Lupo (FORKED)
Children: Gianni* (23), Paul and Joey (21), and Francesca (18)
Details: At the conclusion of the Frenched Series, Coco took over the event planning firm she and Mia started together in Detroit. She and Nick lived in the Indian Village neighborhood in Detroit. Several years later, they move up to the Traverse City area, where Nick opened a restaurant. Their son Gianni, a chef like his father, appears in IGNITE (Cloverleigh Farms next generation #1) and has his own book in that series (book 2, TASTE).
Appearances in other books: Coco and Nick are featured in ONLY YOU (One & Only Series), and Coco appears in UNFORGETTABLE (the Cloverleigh Farms Series).
Erin and Charlie Dwyer (FLOORED)
Children: Madison (29), Charlie’s daughter from a previous relationship; Mia (19); and CJ (17)
Details: At the conclusion of the Frenched Series, Erin was running a dance studio and Charlie had made detective.
Appearances in other books: Erin appears briefly in SOME SORT OF LOVE.
